YOURE DEHYDRATED!
-Scientific ways to be healthy
Your metabolism increases when you increase your water intake. Your body is at least 60% water. Therefore, it is essential for your health. Sixty four (64) ounces (8 eight-ounce glasses) is a minimum for body maintenance. If you are not doing this, it will be difficult to lose weight. Drink water (not soda, juice, or other beverage - just water) 30 minutes before meals, and/or 90 minutes after. My prescription for exactly how much water to drink is as follows:
Your body weight in pounds
Divide this number by 2.2
This is your weight in kilograms
This same number is the number of ounces that your body requires each day
Very cold or very hot water/beverages/foods stops digestion until the stomach can warm or cool down to body temperature (98.6°). This puts added stress on the already over-worked stomach. No wonder that so many of us are chronically tired.
